Canada IS Legalizing “Pot” Recreational Marijuana by midsummer and we will be open for business, at least in the Cannabis department.
More tax revenue.pack
By Legalizing Pot “Cannabisthere are a lot of good as well as some bad points. Do away with the underground economy, more tax revenue, keep it out of the hands of children.
Look at all the money Canada will be saving by not charging and jailing all these bad guys, you know the ones, selling this stuff illegally. Overnight these bandits will become honorable Canadian citizens again and now will have to go out and, find real jobs… Eh
I have to admit though, going to a local dispensary will be easier than importing the, from you know where. “Mon”
But again you have to wonder, how is our government going to regulate this weed smoking? It’s illegal to smoke cigarettes anywhere around or near a public building, can’t smoke around children, and they’re even trying to pass a law by banning cigarettes in your home and car. They actually have special officers that heavily fine the offenders.
Up to a couple of years ago, the only place you could buy a six-pack of beer was in a special beer store and since then, they have loosened up that ruling. Now you can buy it in selected food chains, well basically anywhere.
But “STILL NOT IN A CORNER STORE”.
Pot, even though it is NOT legal in the Netherlands, is widely available and probably considered a nuisance more than anything. As luck would have it, we went to Holland for our holidays and this is off the subject, BUT NOT.
So while we were visiting Netherland the curiosity got the best of me, and I had to visit the famous RED LIGHT DISTRICT. As I looked over at these display windows I noticed this “lady” spotted me. She did the consecutive finger gesture to come in for a “visit”. I pointed out that I had my wife with me and she gave this wave with her hand, who cares gesture. Only in Holland. Eh!
Having been in Amsterdam all those days, there was no distinct Marijuana smell. We were there for the Queen’s birthday and party-goers were everywhere. There was no heavy smoke/smell.
Maybe they weren’t smoking that day, Marijuana smoke-free day, or maybe they found a way to remove that distinct order.
Well, as I understand it, major growers in Canada will have up to 50 different flavors of this weed for your liking. So our Canadian growers must have found a way to get rid of the smell.
But, I still have to wonder if some Canadian pot will include menthol or a cherry flavor.
A few years back the tobacco companies polluted my Cigars with those oddball flavors, and that took the fun right out of smoking stoggies (cigars). Eh!
I think our illustrious leaders are sailing in “UNCHARTED WATERS”
This will bring a new meaning to
“MADE IN CANADA” “Eh”
