Hardest Thing to do is Talk about Oneself

About me.

Canadian Flag

Proud Canadian

As the flag shows, “I’m from Canada”. and us Canadians we don’t live in the wild. I promise in posts not bore you with dirty trucker jokes or the likes, or even use $10 words in my posts, But I do promise, I will keep it interesting, so just stay with me.

I left school at an very early age, and with very little education. I learned if an opportunity comes my way, this guy was going to take it. I had a chance to be in the transportation industry and for the next many years, that was my trade, truck mechanic, heavy equipment, bus, boat and everything mechanical in-between. Some people are just naturals at what they do, and that sure comes in handy when learning a trade, but me, I had to work for it, and work at it I did.

I didn’t come from a blood line of mechanics, just a bunch of hard working people, trying to make to make the world go around. So, I was not a natural by any sense of the word, I persevered and learned as much as I could and in my opinion became one of the best at my trade and credentials to prove it, but that’s only paper. Eh.. This site is NOT about mechanical things that go around and of coerce, I might tell you a few stories, but it is about anything and everything. Donald Trump is on my list, but not necessarily him ether.

A famous poet wrote

(I find the harder I work … the luckier I get.)

But If I had to describe our family tree it would go like this, my mother was born in a quiet spot in Nova Scotia,  my dad was a bit, well like a newer version gypsy, was always looking, searching for something, as a young person we moved around a lot, that in part was well and good, but it sure played hell with schooling and friends.

We saw more country at age of 10 than most people in there life time. But everything in life happens for a reason. Eh.  My father believed  he was either born too early or too late for his mode of thinking and that, is an  “Interesting thought”.

(So the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree)

Maybe in my posts, I’ll share some of my award-winning photos and some yet to be taking… Maybe share some horrible truck tales, and a few humerus ones. How about blogging about boating, snowmobiles, or just plain  “boring safety” tips for the highway.

“Did I mention that the average person has 3 career changes in his life time”.

So were off for a new adventure, “I made the promise to you! I will not bore you too badly”. Eh

I like photography and being creative in Photoshop.

I repair things and am not a throwaway person.

I’m totally aware of my surroundings and people.

I used to believe hard work was noticed and always paid off….  “I DON’T ANYMORE”.

I believe, if It feels comfortable, then its right for me.

I learned to take everything at my own pace, not somebody else’s.

I believe in recycling.
