Ten Best Hands-On Trades

1. Truck and Coach Technician
2. Highway Trailer Technician
3. Ironworker
4. Truck Driving
5. Anything Transportation Oriented
6. HVAC Technician. “Air Conditioning”
7. Plumber.
8. Electrician.
9. Construction
10. Electrician

As a “Truck and Coach Technician,” I am very familiar with all these highly recognized trades and, I also know many hard-working people in them. They are the backbone of our country with very little or no praise associated with them. I could recommend any trade on that list but, only, if you are a hands-on type of person.
You will never be without a job. I found that all through the years I could get employed anywhere from a contract mechanic in war-torn countries to almost anywhere I wanted to move to. That’s what I call recession-proof. Continue reading

Is the Air We Breathe Polluted?

As a truck and heavy equipment mechanic turned blogger, I have to approach this article from a mechanical point of view. There is some misconception with us, stupid humans, that we believe there is a lot of water and air …to pollute.

So, polluting our whole planet will never happen. Some might even say something really stupid like, “at least not in my lifetime.” Continue reading

Climate Change, Global Warming and Covid-19

Global Warming Graphics

So as of writing this article on Climate Change, the Coronavirus flu is running rampant around the world. The flu virus is taken all the limelight away from just as an important issue called “Global Warming.” We will eventfully get a handle on COVID-19 and it will disappear as fast as it came. There’s not a doubt in my mind, but what worries me is the next round. Continue reading

Canadian Political Go Around

political go around

political go around, BACK AND FORTH

Blogging about Canadian politics and elections always have been and always will be a never ending topic.  I call it a Canadian Political go around, back and forth between two parties. Yes, we have more than two parties in Canada, but it doesn’t seem to matter to the people of this country, mentally they can’t get past the two parties.

I dislike talking about mundane political drama, but there is always so much to write about!  A person is never lost for things to say or complain about, and in my case write about. But it’s one of the two most talked about, argued about topics, “Religions and Politics”. AND you really shouldn’t.

More arguments are made over Religion and Politics.

Our political go around the environment in Canada is, four years of one party and they screw up, then, we vote them out. We then vote for the other party in. When they do a terrible job, we vote them out, and in the end, vote the other party back in. Are we that stupid to think that their party and their way of thinking have changed since the last time?

Yeah, we are that stupid. So, I call it a “Political go around”  back and forth, back and forth.

In my view, Canadian political parties can say what they want during election time, and they do, whatever they think you would like to hear.  In the end, when elected, they do exactly that. What they personally desire is, fulfill their childhood dream maybe, maybe clean up a few vendettas along the way or maybe, it’s not their fault at all, it’s just called” HUMAN NATURE”.

Political scientists would have you think there are a right and a left in government. They really believe there is a distinction between the parties. One party will always defend human rights, one defends the abortion, and the other, the right to or the right not to. But I don’t see a distinction between parties anymore. All parties seem to change the rules as they go, fit the environment and maybe that’s a good thing, change with the times.

HAVING SAID THAT: who can we vote for?

It is our God given right in Canada to vote and elect a party or leader that we can trust and hopefully do a good job for our country and or our community. When elections come around we all must get off our FANNIES to do just that. “VOTE” We have to exercise that right that most countries do not have.

Canada vote wisely

 BUT for WHO?

There is only one logical conclusion of how to get the right party/candidate into office. It has nothing to do with gender equality or whether the person is male or female, black or white.  It’s not the party you vote for, it’s the person that you think will do the job they’re elected to do. Will that person do the best job possible, or will their ego get in the way, money or how about, old Vendettas. “now it’s payback time.”  Will all that baggage get in the way of the bigger picture? THEIR ELECTED JOB.

The political go around the environment of today seems to say that I’m more right than wrong.

AS a CITIZEN of Canada, I have that right to vote and, I make sure that I exercise that right. With the World Wide Web you have no excuse not to do “major” research on the candidates of interest. Vote for the person that you think has a sound body and mind to give to the people what they were elected to do. Never mind the politician that pats the baby on the head or goes to the elementary school to show concerns for the people and parents on the high cost of bringing up your little ones. When they themselves are an only child in the family and they themselves have no children.

DO YOUR RESEARCH,

Google your candidate of interest, do your research and ‘Vote” wisely.

Elections are coming up and after that …elections are coming up and after that……………You get the idea.

Here is an interesting  “LONG” article on the political environment in Poland, there are some similarities, I’m glad I live in Canada
